Islamic Coin? Six point star and lion?

    Hi all,
I posted this in my thread yesterday about coins that my son and I picked up at the Annapolis show. This one has me stumped. I was assuming it was North African/some sort of Islamic coin. It looks to have the Seal of Solomon/Six pointed star on on side and a lion - at least that's what it kind of looks like to me - on the other. It is approximately 2.60g and 16mm in diameter.

I spent all day yesterday and most of today so far looking for something similar but am coming up empty. I was wondering if anyone knew anything about or had any resources for Islamic coins, if that indeed is what this is.

    Thanks for looking!

The star reminds of a star of David. Lions have been used in religious texts frequently.

I thought of that too. It reminded me a lot of coins from Morocco but I couldn't find anything there either.
