Is this serial number worth keeping I know it a tad off.

    To me $20 is a lot so I would spend it not old enough and in good enough condition.

    Interesting serial number, but nothing special. If you like it and can afford to set it aside, keep it. To me, it’s a spender.

    As others have pointed out keep it only if you like it. IF the last 3 digits were "953" instead of "553" you would have a radar note - the serial would be the same forwards and backwards. One of every 10000 notes is a radar note so radar notes aren't all that rare unless they have some other special attribute.     alas an almost radar note is worth face value plus sentimental value.
