Ok 3 days still no reply. The seller also states it's silver and there is NO usual silver inscription on the only side of the item depicted. The seller is selling it as a "COIN" but I don't see a monetary inscription and the seller doesn't mention a monetary value on it, so it's probably not a coin. The picture provided does NOT look like a scan or photo as it looks more like an artwork drawing. If this were a photo or scan of a PROOF metal then the photo and scan would appear much different. Discussing the certification outside the usual Third Party grading companies, doesn't a Certificate of Authenticy from the U.S. Mint create some sort of certification? Although I believe there isn't one with this auction. I also note that the seller has 3 auctions running right now selling the same item, using the exact same photo. The seller is selling singles of the item with a starting bid of $100.00 OUCH! Just because the seller states they are "SILVER" doesn't make it so. Many of the e-bay sellers who don't know the composition of the $10 Casino Silver Strikes I collect make the claim that they are made of solid .999 Fine Silver with a Gold plated rim and weighs 1.2 oz, when in reality they are a bi-metal composition. A highly polished Brass outer rim with a .999 Fine Silver center insert and the insert weighs approximately .6 troy oz. Bottom line = Don't always believe the seller's claims! Ask questions and be skeptical. If the seller doesn't answer questions??? DON'T BID OR BUY!!!
