Is this post mint damage? It looks like it's not because date clean

    I found this strange looking coin and at first thought it was damaged after mint but upon looking at the date and the words on top of coin, they look ok. Any idea what's going here?     Looks to be some kind of thin clear lacquer that was applied to it. Or maybe my eyes are just tired :zombie:

    Why would it not affect the date? When I look at the coin, the "damage" is all around it also.

    Just found out that this super rare and someone offerred me huge bucks. Should I take it or keep the coin?

    the coin looks just damaged to me with DDD and and a ridge ring starting. Did they say why it was "super rare"
