Is this PMD?

Thank you so much Get Real for your input and advise....Think I should look around for an expert to have a look at it....Where should I start? Phone book? Online?
I must tell you that you are not alone in your collecting of treasures...I too have many items that are not worth anything to everyone on the planet...Except me.

Unfortunately I cannot offer any help in that category. I have collected coins all of my life however it has always been about me and the things that interested me as opposed to Buying/Selling/Trading . I mostly collected things that I found in my surroundings (I travel a lot) and occasionally made numerous purchases of some my special interest but I have never had any of my personal findings professionally graded or authenticated by an expert. I've only recently started to catalogue my collection in order to liquidate everything of value because I no longer have the time to allocate to it and I wish to invest the proceeds into an new venture for me and my almost new wife.
There are a lot of other very knowledgeable people on here that can better help you with that question. I am actually surprised that they haven't chimed in on this thread already, unless they are not agreeing with your and my opinions about this coin.

Thank you Get Real for getting back to me....You could very well be right concerning no one offering info on where to find an expert....But that's ok...I'll take my time and find someone sooner or later....Thanks again for offering your advise and help!

I am very happy to help when I can. If it was me I would bring the coin to your local coin shop to get their opinion and I'm sure they can offer some assistance in finding an expert or at least point you in the right direction. Thank you for your well wishes and all the same to you.
