Spending that bill instead of selling it....worst decision since Moe, Larry, and Curly decided to put gasoline in a radiator instead of water. Well...actually....the worst decision was when they wanted to check if it was filled. And then Moe asked Curly for a match so he could see better down the hole......
It was just a way for me to ask if it was worth more than face value or if I should consider it a normal $10 bill.
Which coins ? I was mostly coins -- 99% the last decade -- and while the $$$-value of what I have bought the last year on coins/PM's dwarfs that of bills/currency by probably 4:1, my NUMBER of items for bills/currency is probably 4:1 over actual coins. So since coming to CT and getting re-active again, I have really gotten into bills/currency. You may like it.....
Anybody who's a Stooges fan is OK by me. Almost as bad as pumping up a birthday cake with gas and then having the candles lit.
I like to collect pre-WW2 American gold & silver coins as well as Ancient Roman & Greek coins. I’m also interested in collecting medieval coins but haven’t picked up any of those yet.
Yup! As far as Americans go. Also Barber coinage as well as Seated Libertys. I know you said “Libertys” but I wasn’t sure if you meant the gold or the silver ones. I like both. Heck I’ll even buy/trade for US trade dollars even though I rarely see them. Basically if it fits all of these criteria I collect it: 1). Minted prior to 1940 2). Contains at least 40% silver or gold. 3). Is an American coin. It’s a pretty large range of stuff but at least I have lots of stuff to look at.
