Is this NC ATB quarter a legit error or PMD?

    Hello all!

This is my first ever post.
I came across a quarter that was in the reject slot at the local Coinstar machine.
It weighs 4.90 grams. Can you tell me if this is intentional damage, or do I have something here? I've attached photos of the obverse and reverse. Its color is the same on both sides, although I retouched the pics a bit to enhance clarity. Thanks!

    It’s environmental damage.

Looks like it spent quite a bit of time in the ground, causing a lot of corrosion.
    Welcome to CT!! :)

    DEFDAM - Definitely Damaged :yack:

As stated. Environmental Damage. Corrosion to both sides affected the appearance and color.

As well as its weight, too. It will be going into a roll of quarters then (not a coin machine)! Thanks.
