Is this just damage? 1979 D quarter

    Im kinda new to coin collecting and i found this coin. Idk if its just damage or not

    From what I can see it looks like a strike through. The photos are the best and get blurry when I blow them up but I don’t see any signs of displaced metal. What for others to answer as they might see something I don’t.

    I believe it is PMD also, similar to a round chisel mark or punch edge.

    Damage from being being struck by another object. Unlikely it happened during the minting process, which leaves PMD (Post [it happened after it left] Mint Damage), not an error.
