is this common in roosefelt dimes

    i was looking thru change tonite and found two dimes with off center strikes.one has a double rim on the left side of coin.nothing on reverse.and other has a raised rim on one side also.one is a 1994 p other is a 1997 p...i know pictures would be great but no cam sry ty

    Hi,

    These are very common. They are very slight misaligned die strikes. They do not command a premium when they are as slight as the ones that you describe.

    By your description, without any pictures, I have to agree with Bill, your coins are probably standard MADs.

    What;s a Mad ? I never heard that before a misaligned die ,but a Mad coin

    You are correct, MAD stands for misaligned die :goofer:
