won't that coin be worth more later on? for a coin like that I think the metal is irrelevant.

If you do, go to youtube and watch videos on them. They can severely burn you fast if you get into the focus area. Also, never leave them uncovered in the sun or you might catch other things on fire. I have one from an overhead projector. It's only about 11 x 12 inches, and though I doubt it will melt metal (haven't tried yet), it will catch wood on fire in about 2 seconds.

They look like polishing scratches to me - some horizontal, most vertical.

OK thanks people. Maybe some day I'll find one of those 1994D extra column cents.

What you think is a DDR is nothing more than die polish lines. It can't possibly be a clash. A clash would show outlines of the devices from the opposite side, not the same side. Spend it!

You're making the same foolish assumption that countless others are making. When was the last time you called a reclamation center and asked them how much they are paying for alloyed copper (non-Grade A)?

10x face value in 10-20 years? Why don't you just sell copies of your Ouija Board, now, instead of waiting while inflation erodes your profit?

All these years I've been listening to members, here, complain about the rip-off artists on SleezeBay, and we finally have one in our midst who admits that he is one edited

What Peter should do in keeping with the "family" concept is open a day school or kindergarten to keep these Lincoln CRH'ers out of the rest of the forums. They think they know everything, but not one has bothered to investigate the costs of refining alloyed copper.
