Is this an Error?

    Ah, thank you! That article really helped. I have a few with the machine doubling and wasn't sure if it was a good or bad form of error. Now i know.

    Think it could be both? Cause i just looked up the misaligned die and it looks like that as well. but it does kinda press inwards like the off centers at the same time.

    well, if its the same size as a normal dime the probably mis aligned die, if its larger then most likely broadstrike...

    I believe it's a MAD also.

    The dime in the OP is misaligned dies. The flatness on the rims might be due to an upsetting problem before striking and/or a thin planchet (weigh it). Broadstrikes will not have reeding as they were struck out of the collar.

    2.3 grams and the same size as a normal dime.
