Is this a real double struck penny?

    i found this in my collection. I can’t find reference to it anywhere.

    Welcome to CT. This was created by smashing two coins together. That was done with some type of screw clamp.

    I’ve read of fake double strikes and thought this was too pronounced. Thank you again.

    Reverse looks like one of those wire cupped wheel brushes you attach to a drill - for that intact circular section.

    Incused and backwards lettering usually means damaged. Not a Mint Error.
