Not a proof, and never was. Great marketing though to maximize profits.

 

However, if it turns out not to be a proof I guess they can get a refund,
item not as described.

 

To be frank, even if a Morgan proof was impaired (below a grade of 60), it still should be in a slab — unless, of course, there’s monkey business.

 

Yes, best case scenario, someone knowledgable just took a chance on it and will return it if NAD.

 

I bet that EBay is not happy with the coin buyers and sellers. It must be a lot of extra work for them with all the fakes, and all the claims etc.
I could see them making a completely independent area for just those items.
