I bought this coin for the neat color and I starteed looking at it and I think it might be a doubled eye lincoln wheat cent? I heard they are really rare and valuable and i was wondering what you all might think because i heard they are really rare and valuable? i took some closeups andi think you might be able to see it in these pics, i don't have a microscope so i can't take anything better tell me what you see and if i have a real doubled eye. it looks like this guys lips might be doubled too? Maybe I'll call it the really rare plumped lips variety! Did I discover something new? and is his nose double too? looks like he lost a fight!
How long have you been here @physics-fan3.14? Does that coin have a date? What kind of pictures are those?
yeah it has a date but it looks all weird like something hit it and damaged it so i didn't post the date. should I post the dates?
Only if you want your feelings hurt. ;-) Is this an unslabbed coin? How about a clean shot of the T in CENT?
How can I tell if it is a real doubled eye and not damage because i've read a lot of posts here and everyone always talks about the coins are damaged and not real doubled eyes and i don't want to get yelled at. i just want people to like me.
Actually, it cannot be because you write in run on sentences, don't capitalize in places you should, and because you likely got your info on this rare variety on YouTube. Looking forward to you telling all us experts how we know nothing because we are all haters who can't stand someone else finding something so valuable and how you have either already sold it for $4,000 or have some expert who has already authenticated it and you will prove it by sending it in for certification.
