You might just throw that one into a flip and mark a DDO on it. Fun coin.
And when you get better at identifying Doubled Die you can bring it back and see if it is either -003 or -008.

So what have you learned?

* Doubled Die not Double Die. The actual DIE has the doubling, the other is a nonsense term

* They do exist. Like Santa and talking M&Ms

* The difference between MD (Mechanical Doubling - shelf effect) from the coin shifting during the strike

* vs. Doubled Die where actual elements are doubled, with the characteristic thickening or "split" serifs where you can see at the ends of the letter two actual impressions from the hub.

* It's ok to drink and coin in moderation. HOWEVER, if the coin seems blurry, it's either a dryer coin or enough drink to call an Uber/Lyft.
