I have had this 1936 D quarter for a while and just noticed this. If it is a double die does anyone know the estimated value in au? Thanks. 2012-07-18_22-56-39_929-1.jpg 2012-07-18_22-59-56_381-1.jpg 2012-07-18_23-04-26_425-1.jpg

Your photos are very distorted (probably shot through a loupe) but the doubling appears to be strike doubling rather than being struck by a doubled die.

Does that make it any more valuable?

Nope. For a collector of that coin, it would make it less valuable.

No. Strike doubling is nothing special. In fact, many consider strike doubling to be damage.
