I know there's no varieties but after looking through my mint sets for errors I can't help but to notice the notching and minor split serif on the very edge of these letters. Its super hard to get the split serif on picture due to my shaky hand and no mount for USB camera. But is it possible this is doubling?

Hello I see "machine doubling" at best. No doubled die here. Keep trying. See how I said " doubled die" ?? Not double die. Thanks for sharing. Please show whole coin next Time.

I can see what you mean by possible notching on the last S in STATES, but most of what you see is due to die wear, especially on E PLURIBUS UNUM. I don't think it's a DDR.

    I am on the fence.
Take a look at the T in quarter, and the branch right above it.

Looks like a normal strike to me, but I'm no expert in doubled die coins.

Honestly, This would need to be looked at in hand to see what type of doubling it is.
At this point it is anyone's guess with the photos provided.

I have to say not a DD. It is doubled but not the kind that brings money.
