David Bowers, the optimal collecting grade is MS65, and the certified population of DMPL's in all grades is 2300+.  The Morgan dollar was struck 1878-1904 and then again in 1921 after legislation was passed authorizing the issuance of the Peace dollar. The production of the 1921 Peace dollar didn't begin until the last few days of December, 1921. Chris[/QUOTE]
