Is this a capped die nickle?

    I found this while coin roll hunting. Is it a capped die? what is it worth? Thanks I appreciate any info

    Not an expert on nickels but it appears to be PMD (Post Mint Damage) IMO it doesn't appear to be a mint error. JMO

    I'd say it is environmental damage.

    No.. As stated just very worn eroded Nickel. It's so bad probably less than 5 Cents

    Here is an example from my collection -
    Only One side would be a Capped Die Strike.. no need to show the Reverse side because it looks normal and it has a raised rim.
