    Hello

I’m new to coin hunting. I have been going through some Delaware quarters and I think I can across a spitting horse. Would appreciate your guys expertise

MOST Ebay sold examples run from $1 to $6. I suppose it depends on condition and how far the die crack extends, with some selling in the teens.

It is in reality a die crack which is quite common on our modern coins. I suppose people can give them any nickname they want to too try help them sell better.

Modern varieties like this and the speared buffalo...are not as valuable ,as they arent as rare.
State quarters in general so many minted so these die cracks, chips,etc..Are #1 not major errors or varieties,#2 mintages so high that they are a dime a dozen.
#3 Their hype is short lived....
They are not in the same class as the 1955 doubled die, or an 1942 /1 dime.
I always say if you like it keep it....but don't think you found a money coin..Most moderns finds dont have high values to begin with...once the hype dies down long forgotten.
