    Buzz. Thanks for playing, and we have some wonderful parting gifts, but that's an incorrect answer, Mr. Q. The correct answer is "It's a Cent." The US Dollar is divided into 100 cents. The Penny was minted at several mints in countries that speak a weird version of English.

    (Yes, I know that even the US Mint has given up and calls them pennies at times)
