    It could be. A better photo of both sides of the coin are nec. and don't hold a coin like that.

    My inclination is no, because of the displaced metal of the rim just north of the 3 o'clock. It's deflected to point slightly inward instead of maintaining the round shape. I'm personally more comfortable with curved clips, so let's see what others say.

    It is damage there is no evidence of the Blakesley effect. Not only that the raised details do not fade into the clipped area. I could keep going but it is PMD.
