Is silica gel safe for coins?

    I never heard anything to the contrary. I doubt that they are very practical for SDB's unless you frequently visit your box.

    From what I know, all it does is absorb moisture, so the answer it, it’s safe.

    Yes, definitely. And I strongly recommend using the rechargeable packs for proper coin storage.

    I would assume they are harmless as they are sold to keep coins safe from moisture in storage.
