Travis, welcome to CT! Notice you just joined today, congrats! Don't know if you just discovered CT today, or if you have been following for awhile & just decided to join, but here are a few tips to get the best responses on your threads: 1. When posting pics of coins, regardless of your question, always, ALWAYS post both sides of the coin (& take the best pics possible). 2. When posting, always comment on what your thoughts are, so we have a direction to look - often times the pics are not sufficient (ie, defined enough) to see everything on a coin clearly, especially when minute issues are involved. 3. Be specific on what you are asking about, as detailed as possible.. something like "What do you think?" is too general/superficial & will generate very few, if any answers. 4. Do not hijack another thread. For example, if someone else posts a thread questioning the authenticity of, for example a trade dollar, don't post your trade dollar on that thread and ask about it - start your own thread, even if it's the exact same issue/problem. 5. If you have multiple coins, with different questions, start a different thread for each, otherwise we usually skip over these type threads. 6. There is a plethora on information on CT (see previous threads) that you can access, & you should at least familiarize yourself with these resources. If you have realized anything about us, you will know that we have some extremely knowledgeable, experienced people on board, very willing to help. We also like to have fun ; "snarky" comments are most often between members on the thread & should not be taken seriously. (Note: There is a difference between "snarky" & argumentative/combative, in which case you will have to decide when to quit the discussion.) :banghead: Anyway, have fun with this & good luck with your coin collecting objectives!:happy::happy:
