Is it Prooflike??

Found this in a box of halves today. I get two-three inches of clear mirror on it. What do you think.

I like the squared edges on this, nice strike.

NO, not from those pictures - but I do like how the mint got gold into the reeded edge.

 

That's just the crappy lighting that made it look gold, pure red copper and white nickel

Thas a nice looking coin with definite contrast between the fields and devices.

 

I'm not seeing enough mirror for PL in these pictures, but its possible. 89 is pretty common for PL Kennedies.

 

It would need to be PL on both sides of the coin to receive the designation.

Edit: I didn't see the reverse image at first.

 

I've got two Kennedy half's that the hair just the hair is turning copper/ red in color, pretty neat, as he was a red head.

 

PL is really hard to tell from images, but I say if you can get a clear reflection of text at 3 inches, PL it is!
