First I took out my caliper to it, YUP to thin. Then weight, Yup to light. Everything else was perfact. The guy that counterfeited it was a or is a pro for sure. I brought it to my dealer friend. He said looks good to him then did the same things I did and he know a lot more about coins then me. But he said He is not 100% sure its fake still. SO he says to me.Lets make a bet. He will send it to PCGS to be graded and slabbed, and if it comes back in a body bag, he will eat the cost of sending it to them. If it comes back in a slab, I pay for the cost&#039;s and owe him lunch. ( This is a guy I have been going to for 30 plus years and is a fishing buddy of mine to boot. ) SO I say fine, your on. Sounds like a good deal to me. Well Sure enough it come&#039;s back in a body bag. lol I still bought him lunch that day.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Now thats how good of a fake it was,It fooled me.&nbsp; It fooled a guy that is a 2nd gen/ coin collector and dealer. Im not glad that I forgot to check it out when I got it in the first place. I dont know if the seller I bought it from thought screw you its been a year. Or if they knew it was a fake when the sold it. Im leaning towards the fact that they knew it and thought think there in the clear. Its now going on 6 years that I have owned this coin sitting in its body bag in a box at my bank with some other AUTHENTIC coins and I dont know what to do with it.
