Is it dd or worth anything?

    Ok... First off, that 1992 I'd die deterioration. And secondly, that 1962 is WAAAY too blurry to see. To tell if it's DD, you just look for what looks like a wave on the metal. It's pretty obvious once you get used to it.

    Are you looking to make extra money searching for errors and varieties?

    That is Die Deterioration doubling.. known as worthless doubling and nothing at all to do with a true Doubled Die variety.

    Most coins you will find are either Mechanical doubling or Die Deterioration doubling :(

    If so the op would have more better luck finding silver and making a few bucks for each silver dime or war nickel e.t.c

    If something has to be subjected to 1000x magnification to determine weather or not it's an error or a doubled die, it ain't worth collecting. I should be able to detect such with my naked eye.......
     
  8. Thanks for the advice wish i could see things that little i have bad vision but oh well im not interested n making money i just am interested in learning whats out there and like studying the hobby is all thanks for all the info appreciated
