Is it a funeral or a resurrection?

Based on the photo, I would not touch the coin in any way.

I have used Deller's and IMO if it was used to darken that coin, the person is a genius. Very often, this product leaves uneven color w/overly darkened tiny spots (especially on silver).

Most of the Dellers I have seen seem to have more dark crap around the devices.

 

One of my future experiments is to put a copper coin (maybe silver too) in a jar with a drop of carbon disulfide and see what happens.
