If there were an upsurge in collecting interest, there certainly aren't enough to go around.</p><p><br /></p><p>Compare to a moderately scarce US coin, the 1875-S 20 cent piece.</p><p>They minted many more of these, <a href="https://en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces18403.html" target="_blank" class="externalLink ProxyLink" data-proxy-href="https://en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces18403.html" rel="nofollow">1.155</a> million and it is the most common type in the series.
