Is anyone else hesitant to send out their notes for professional grading?

I'm concerned that I may not get them back (nothing personal with any grading company). Can anyone ease my mind? It's a trust problem I have, I know. Now you know why I picked my emoji mood under my Avatar.

PMG has a great reputation and currently a great turn around time, I would not
consider sending my notes to anyone else !

I frankly don't see the need. I'm kind of like a roach motel of collecting - they check in but not out. If I do buy graded though, I prefer PMG and PCGS Currency.

Well since PCGS is out of business I am not sure what you send them ?
if your talking about PCGS gold shield, since there inception just a few years
ago I have maybe seen 5 or 6 notes on ebay, that hardly insteals confidence
and dont get me started on legacy that place is a joke, Jason Bradford ex
CEO of PCGS screwed over his Registery participants and everybody that
got there notes graded there, have already transferred many of my notes
    to PMG.

I would be more worried about them being lost or misplaced during the shipping process more than not being returned by the grading company.

There's always a risk of some freak accident happening but the risk is so low it's not really something to think about unless it happens. The parent companies of PCGS and PMG handle millions and millions of items a year

PCGS has been grading notes in Newport for several months now. They no longer license the name out

Don't some coin shows have on site identification? Maybe try that when the opportunity arises.

If you are afraid that they wont be returned, mail companies provide insurance. You will be paid for what is lost, based on how much you insured them for.

Nobody would use grading companies if they wouldn't get their coins/notes back.

    Good luck.

A TPG is reputable and I know of no problems using them. Getting them to and from the TPG is another matter. That’s where I would be concerned.
