Is anybody else experiencing the same problem

I have bought 9 $500 boxes of quarters and all of them have been 2018 uncirculated quarters. I cant believe that we are in the last month of 2019 and there is hardly any 2019 uncirculated quarters being distributed. I live in New Mexico, has anybody else had the same experience as I.

I had that problem for awhile. I was getting solid boxes of every single 2018 design well into May/June. When I got my last boxes of quarters a few weeks ago, there was a box that was half full of River of No Return and the other half was Pictured Rocks.

 

I’m on my 3rd box of quarters and it is a wide variety of old and new, but no silver.

 

I wonder if some employees of the FRB's are holding them back while searching for the W mintmarks!

They may be but I think it is illegal. And, Federal Employees never do anything illegal.

My area does not receive new money. Period.

 

Wish I was. I still have the last "W" quarter to get. They better not start this nonsense next year.

I am not 100% sure where you live but from reading your posts and our super limited interactions, I think I grew up in your area. I still work there although I live south of the border and I would definitely agree that I have not gotten any new coinage in this area any time I have asked at my banks in the area. It is all circulated (which I love). I have only EVER received new boxes of anything when I stopped at a Bank of America in WestMinster, Md looking for the 2017 P lincoln cent. Winner for me. I hope you get what you are looking for @CoinTech !

 

I think perhaps it is the Loomis and Brinks people who are sorting the "W" coins.

 

You really think it’s possible? I mean you’d have to have an army of people searching a pallet bulk bag for days. Lol.

 

@Bambam8778 I live just over the border in PA near I-83. If I want new coins I consider the drive too far. Just not worth it to me.
