Cute as HELL. I adore Yogi. I have a signed ball and a handshake from him. Bought a tie for my brother Chuck and he signed that also. (Riverside Men’s Shop. ) Buffalo,Ny. 14207

I get it. Why not make a few great mistakes to start a coin search craze. People went bat shit crazy in 1955 looking for that cent. The W quarters were great but just think of the mint sparking interest with a new 1955 type coin

Fleece is the key work. Like shooting fish in a barrel. Like driving a new car off the lot. Loose 50 % of it’s value as soon as it arrives or you drive it out into traffic

That's really cool. When I was a kid my dad sat behind Mickey Mantle on a flight and got me his autograph. I saw Bob Feller before he passed and got his autograph, too.

I'm still considering the Unc Commemorative dollars. I'd rather not pay the Mint's ridiculous mark up but I doubt I'd be able to get them in the aftermarket for less than issue price.

The negro League dollar has been on sale for over three months now, and still hasn't passed the 8K sold mark. The Purple Heart has only been on sale one month but it is poised to break past 10K.

I'm not buying anything from the mint.

But then, in almost 50 years of collecting, I never have. :D

Still hate the laser-pebbled finish, but I do like that design. A lot.

I thought the Maya design was just okay, until I got one in my change at the supermarket and took a close look. With the newly-minted luster, and under the store's bright lights, it absolutely looked like she was dancing, with the bird taking wing. It stopped me dead in my tracks. Pretty sure I'm going to have to grab a really nice example of that one for display.
