Is Anybody Buying Anything From The Mint?

Shimano PD-M9120 XTR platform pedals. I have one set on my new Specialized, was going to buy another set for my other mtb. I've been using the 747s for decades, the platforms ones are awesome.

yeah, 3.5+ * spot. Lofty premium that is probably going to drift lower over time. But if spot goes up 4x .. I'm all set. lol

 

I hear that. But I gotta say this, I thought Shimano made fishing reels, not bike pedals. Lol

I assume Golf and Rowing Equipment are in the "Others" revenue category.

 

And here I am thinking Shimano only made bicycle gears.

 

Their kind of like Honda, except in Sporting Equipment.

Can't help there, I only play acoustic -- the 12-string has a pickup, but I never plug it into anything.

 

I have heard of Shimano fishing rods and reels but not golf clubs, unless they own the Mizuno brand.

 

I quest they make a lot more than any of us thought.

Yeah Nike got into the golf business signing Tiger and now is back out except for apparel. Lots of companies have come and gone. Don't think they were ever a big player in the game, but I sure am not well versed in the golf club business.

I thought these bloody things sold out......classified as 'limited' I added one to my cart and purchased it. I'm not thrilled with the 'Tom Mix' obverse but I do like the reverse. Thanks for pointing the way for me.

 

Wasn't that the coin that if you ordered they had a shipping date of a couple months out. Ppl probably canceled their orders.

I'm pretty sure they just went to unavailable when what was already made sold out. 75k mintage is very high for a medal

 

When you pile too much on us, that's what we do, we shake it off. Let that be a lesson to you humans.

 

Just looked at the latest (October 2) figures on the Mint's web site and the figure stands at 7,953. I still expect a flurry of sales before the year ends but it's fun to watch.

 

I ordered and received a 2022 mint and proof set. It was the easiest way to get the coins. And I have a small mint defect on the Maya Proof Quarter.
