I heard people say that gold brings good luck. I put an AGE in my pocket once before a job interview. I didn't get the job.

    I didn't move here, i was born here....lol

    Good luck in vegas bro!

I didn't realize there's so many hoosiers on here. Thats kinda cool. I didn't carry anything with me today, and i didn't fall the first time, and everything was slicker cuz it melted a bit and refroze. So i guess we'll see what happens when the 37 buffalo goes with me 2morro.

I remember having a particularly unlucky day a few years back when I was carrying an 1881-S Morgan in my pocket, so there might be something to that. LOL

You wouldn't happen to be from the Charlestown/Jeffersonville area by any chance, would you?

I thought a silver dollar (and only a silver dollar) was supposed to be a "lucky" pocket piece?? Maybe you got lucky because you didn't break any bones falling!

I carry a circulated, 1921 Morgan in an air-tite, in my wallet, in the zipper pocket. It was my grandfather's. Have carried it for the last few years. I'm luckier than some and not as lucky as others so make of it what you will. lol

I carry a Peace dollar so slick, i can only see the outline of the head on the obverse and almost none of the reverse! It has brought me mixed luck, but boy is it a conversation starter.

True story! I sit an Eisenhower down on my Mom's slot machine, and no sooner than I got out the phrase 'This is for good Luck' the reels lined up for a 650.00 windfall!!!

Here is an update: I've been carrying my AU 1937 Buffalo nickel(its in a round nickel hard case)with me seince the morgan incident and things have been going good. Buffalo Nickels are my favorite, followed by morgans and walking liberty halves, maybe its cause i like the coin better. Who knows? lol
