is a good idea to collect cyprus coins?

    Hi i am new here, i find one cyprus auctions site that the people on this site sell cheaper because they don't have the fees...
    Is a good idea to start collecting cyprus coins?

    First, welcome to the neighborhood, Michael!

    Second, it is not a good idea to consider coin collecting as an investment. It is a hobby you should enjoy. You might break even on some coins, win on others and lose on more than you think.

    I don't think he's asking about Cyprus coinage but rather buying from dealers in Cyprus. I've seen rare coins offered at suspiciously low prices from dealers in Cyprus and assumed they were too good to be true.
