Is 3 Clips Enough?

    In checking rolls you might find a single or even a double clip. Finding one with 3 clips would be rare indeed but not impossible. Have fun!

    It's a nice diagram to try and illustrate in theory how it would happen, but the punches and the holes aren't really arranged like that in real life. The punches are much closer together and would be set with at least two offset rows of punches that drive through the strip with each cycle of the press. Space between punches is set to a minimum to reduce strip wastage.
