If it's larger than a normal Cent then it was put between 2 pieces of leather and struck until it expanded. They call that a Texas Cent.

Hi paddyman98, Can I ask a silly question about this 1945 penny? Can a coin be enlarged and everything on the coin still be in perfect formation. I thought it would show stress somewhere on the coin. Like where it gave when stretched. Thnx paddyman98

That is the thing about the leather, it conforms to the surface of the coin so the hammer blows are applied to the entire surface evenly and the entire coin enlarges proportionally.
