[QUOTE="Daggarjon, post: 359480, member: 4230"]I know Iraq has had a problem with counterfeit notes. I am now under the impression i have some.. alot. Recently i posted a thread about recieving aide in reading Arabic numerals. Well, going though my notes with written arabic dates and serials, i came upon Iraq. I have gotten Iraqi note from a variety of sources, including a couple recent shipments. What i found when i started combining the notes .. is that not only are some of the notes the same but they are all sequential!!!! I mean, when a note i just got is put next to a note i have had in my collection for some time... the number was sequential to the new note. Statistical speaking... this is impossible. It is possible for it to happen with possibly 1 note. But not the number i times i have sitting in front of me! I am counting maybe 6 or 8 instances - and i havenet gone through them all.

Now, i am new to the whole understanding of reading these Arabic numbers... so i could be off.

Does anyone have any sane explanation for this.. other then what i already think, and that is i have a boatload of counterfeits????
