    Hi,
Would appreciate some advice regarding this Iranian 2 Rial coin.
I feel sure it's 1969 but when I enter the date into a converter it shows 1929 and 1969.
I don't understand why it shows both the Lunar and the Solar Hejira. a.JPG b.JPG c.JPG
Incidentally is the third character of the date in the picture a misstrike?
    Thanks in advance

It is 1969. Iran has used both solar and lunar Hejira on coins at different points in time, which is probably why your converter gave both.

I looked at some other examples of that date and it looks like that's just how they shaped the ۴ that year.
