I just found this in a coin roll. Is it missing a clad layer or PMD? It doesn't have a shiny side of all and I thought that the ones I seen have a shiny side if they're missing a clad layer. It's look to be missing it to me .I need to weigh it. Looking for my scale.

If it were struck on a coin with
the outer clad layer missing, the
copper side would have the same
    color as a copper cent.

    This quarter has 'environmentally
    damaged' surfaces - PMD.

There is no copper color showing
on either side of this quarter.

Just a damaged coin. Was likely found metal detecting at some point.

Also.. Remember this, A Missing Clad Layer usually just involves just 1 side if a Clad coin.

Here are examples from my collection -
