Way more upside on GOLD if you can do it 1/10 OZ gold coins are a great place to start still very affordable
That was just the first site (of many) that I found. I guess that proves it isn’t isolated information. I guess just a matter of time until that British tradition is canceled too.
It was never every pilot and yes every major country has done things like survival packs to some extent. So great have some gold with you or local currency if you find yourself doing bombing runs in a foreign country, but again what on earth does any of this have to do with someone trying to sell PMs?
I was going to buy a couple 1/10s last week and start on a monthly buying plan. But (today at ProvidentMetals) the price for CreditCard is $281 .. that's $2810 per ounce with spot at $1764. The premium I thought was a tad high so I skipped it. I'll wait for the premiums to float back down to something a bit more realistic .. which it probably never will.
If your a long term investor premiums shouldn't bother you, I buy a couple of onces of GOLD each month, not that I will ever see any of the profits...LOL all for the grand kids, so regardless of price up or down in the end will probably average out, with any luck at all.
That’s what I was saying, just didn’t have the prices to mention. Better to buy an ounce, put it on the credit card and pay off as soon as possible. That’s still cheaper in the long run than buying 10, 1/10th ounces at a time.
Gold and silver work great as part of a diversified portfolio of investments. Get the usual stocks, bonds, funds, etc., and then add gold silver, platinum, palladium in whatever quantities make sense. To really learn what investment in PMs is like, buy some gold and then try to sell it. You might have a great experience and make money. But you might get offered far less money than you would expect. The whole process is not straightforward and it involves similar risks to any other investment. To hedge against loss, don't put your money all into one thing. Diversify and spread investments out over various items. That way your overall value will maintain some stability over time as one thing loses value and others gain value, etc. And sometimes everything will lose value. And sometimes everything will gain value. The only guarantee is that values will fluctuate. But the most important maxim of investment remains: don't ask the barber if you need a haircut. This simple advice will save a lot of pain and loss.
A 50% premium means in the long term you'll get only 2/3 as much gold as you would without the premium. That... bothers me.
It makes no difference what type of collector you are. Long or short term is beside the point. The point is simple; how much is an ounce going to cost me?
I see it now. The 1oz AGE is $2,029 for Credit Card payment. ($1,766 spot / $263 premium) vs $2810 for Ten 1/10ths. $800 premium. other than AGE which I just consider stacking, I really like the coin itself 2014 Kennedy Proof Half but that is at $1,898 for 3/4 oz which is $2530/oz .. cheaper than the 1/10th still. But I get enjoyment from that 2014 coin vs the 1/10 to 1oz AGE which is just bullion for me.
If we could tell the future we would all be billionaires...LOL, we cant so we use our best guess based on what we believe in and our goals, if anybody out there can tell me what on once of GOLD is going to be worth in 25 years I am all ears.
This is just getting really dumb at this point. What on earth does a pilot behind enemy lines doing capture and evade have remotely anything to do with whether or not to invest in PMs because of an ad
I have a few 1/10 of an ounces myself but I’m not going to stack them as it’s to costly. I’ll save and buy the 1 ounce if I want to stack gold.
Always smarter to do that if you can but some aren’t in a position to spend nearly $2,000 for an once of gold so the 1/10 once can be a good option for those folk
A friend of mine has bought a 1/10 each month going back a very long time. I"m sure he has quite a boat load now. And it has value. If he ever sold it all, after the lost premiums but rise in spot I wonder where he would be. I recall the old spot+premiums are not as bad as they are now as I nearly started buying One 1/10th when I was getting $100+ish of ASEs per month.
