The pipe and hat stand approx 0.5mm proud of the coin surface. They have been painstakingly recessed into the surface of the coin.</p><p><br /></p><p>I read somewhere that similar coins were made by British POWs during the Boer War as a satire against Kruger. Has anyone else seen one like this? Does anyone have an idea of value?
