What a memory... Hadn’t thought of this in way too many years.... Mom was poor. She worked all day and schooled all night trying to make something of herself to give me a better life..... There weren’t a lot of home cooked meals when I was a youngster. But mom knew I loved Chunky Soup and kept the cupboard stocked up for me. Chunky soup was my staple meal coming up!

When I first moved out of my parents home when I was 17 I lived on boxed Mac & cheese and canned pasta for about three months. I survived that & drinking from a garden hose. LOL.

It's amazing most of made it through childhood. No helmets, no safety belts, no bottled water, no rules and regulations stopping us from doing stupid things. If we got hurt, it was a lesson for all of our friends not to do it.
I like the coins/metals posted and Chunky soup. LOL
