Here's a pretty strange looking love token made up of 1922 chile one peso and 3 California gold tokens mounted on it. The hole at the top doesn't appear to have been used too much but the piece overall has considerable wear as though it might have been carried in a pocket or something.
Some people like this kind of thing but i cringe everytime i see "ex-jewelry" or holes or soldered on loops. What a waste of a coin in my opinion, or in this case 4 coins.
I like some of them. Years back coins were commonly used as pocket watch fobs or key fobs or as jewelry . If I had my great-grandfather's pocket watch fob coin I would treasure it much more than any slabbed BU coin of that type.
Back when this was made the coins were worth very little so they ended up in jewelry often. It is what it is now.
