When out and about today, I found these. No I did'n buy them...yet, but I may go back and buy one of them.
These punchboards used to be available at local taverns as a form of "entertainment". They are illegal in most (if not all) states. Shysters used to sell them to taverns and days later have a shill come in with the known winning punch locations and "win" the top prizes (some boards had various levels of prizes). They are neat to own and a piece of history.
When I worked at Snap-On, the tool producing company in 1979 these were circulating on a regular basis. Never saw one that I remember with paper money for prizes, just Morgan and Peace silver dollars. A $5 dollar bill got you seven pulls if I remember correctly.
