Really really budgood bags of coins I am not going to bore you again with the 1922 plain Lincoln I found in a budgood goody bag. Instead, I am going to list a few of the other coins I found... er, were put in the bag... One three piece set of beautiful 43 Lincolns in a Capitol holder. A couple dozen steel cents in various grades and conditions. One 194? Merc, one 1950d Roosevelt. More than a dozen IHC, most in very good condition. I am not formally collecting IHC's, but there is quite nice range of dates... so I will begin collecting them soon as I get a nice display album. Two 1853 3c coins. One 1867 3c and one 1873 3c pieces. An 1862 and an 1864 IHC of copper-nickel with wreath reverse. One unknown year IHC which has numbers stamped on both sides. Obverse had three 2's, and reverse has one 1, three 2's, one 3, two 4's, two 5's, one 8, and one 9. For the life of me I cannot figure out why this coin was so abused. One blank copper cent planchet. One 50% off center 1974d Lincoln. (I think this error has a different name than 'off-center'). One 1951d Lincoln with a very large 0 (zero) stamped on obverse just above Liberty. One 1943 steel wheat that has an extended edge which I have not been able to identify with certainty. One old ancient coin, or a copy... as far as I can determine it has Jupiter standing holding a victory scepter on one side and Carus Antoninanus on the other side. It is a wide oval shape and is about 21mm across the widest point. This coin caused me to do some heavy duty searching on the ancient coin forums. I can tell you that most of the coins made a great impression on me. Very nice. Okay, so we have the unusual coins accounted for. There is also: One 1956D-1MM-001. (verified by Tom Miller of RPM fame). One 1956D-1MM-003 D/D North. (also verified by Tom Miller). One 1948D-1MM-005 (not verified) One 1953D-1MM-001 D/D West (not verified) One 1957D possibly a Coneca RPM # 001 (not verified) Two marvelous 1909 VDB's, and many more in various grades. Many other teen dates in various conditions. A 1912D good enough for my album. One old bank roll of 1957D bu Lincolns. One old bank roll of 1955D bu Lincolns. And a great number of 40's and 50's Lincolns. This bag might keep me busy for many months to come as I recheck each and every coin for keepers. But, of course, I will gladly get another bag whenever it is offered. Tnank you again budgood! And thank Arizona for talking me into the transaction. He can be relentless... jeankay
