Interesting find - Germany (Baden) - 1912 G 3 Mark Doubled Die Reverse

    Found a pretty cool DDR while I was imaging some new world coins, and thought I'd share it with the group.

    Shows very strong doubling on DREI MARK and lower eagle feathers, also left star and lower letters of DEUTSCHES.

    I see that this variety has been previously discovered as it was mentioned in a 2011 CONECA ErrorScope article (I don't have a copy that far back):

    "Roger W. Beckner shares a German States – Baden 1912-G 3 Mark coin bearing a strong doubled die reverse that Potter has listed in his Variety Coin Register as VCR#1/DDR#1."

    Interesting, but world coin collectors tend to not really care about such trivial things like this....unlike the market-hype-frenzied USA collectors.
