I picked up a great lot on Ebay this week. A large lot of Morgans, and the seller was apparently a storage locker hunter from the items up for sale. The seller had fuzzy pictures and didn't even bother to list the mint marks. I saw it as an opportunity. Among the lot were some choice coins. An 1878-CC in XF, an 1891-CC in VG, a 1904-O in what I am guestimating could be an MS65 and possibly an MS66 - it's in the "off to grading" pile, and 2 1878-P "8 tail feather" varieties that I need to attribute. But the interesting one was just a common 1878 7TF in circulated condition, however it has a die break or something (would love to know what technical term y'all give it!). The bottom of the "D" is chopped off, making it look like a lower case "n" It's my new Silver Nollar!
