The factoid about progressive rheumatoid arthritis and gold salts ( compounds) is well supported ....But originally was a cyanide compound of very high toxicity and today usually gold sodium thiomalate, with side effects and toxicity as high in studies as 30+% is used. So obviously it is closely monitored as to dosage So anyone thinking that the nano gold solutions would work are not supported. The quantity of actual gold used is miniscule in amount.

    Very interesting article.
I will add something that my Fiancée and I were talking about recently, in Spanish the word for gold is oro. When one says they pray they say "yo oro" ..
    I pray, I gold? :wacky:

Sounds too good to be true ... The Latin origin of the noun oro = gold is "aurum" (hence the "Au" in the periodic system). The verb orar = pray comes from Latin "orare". Now if you called her "tesoro", that word has a Greek origin (thesaurus) which meant something like "treasure (house)", so gold could be involved. :D

Hehe ... in Germany, currywurst is popular fast food - and at some places that also comes in a gold variety. :)
