Even though he, by design, tried (and seemingly succeeded) to get under certain people's skin, and I didn't always agree with his positions/opinions, I do believe his intentions were good and this place was better with him.... even with all the faces. JMHO.
He was a bit before your time. His username was "Redwin117", and if nothing else could be said about the man, he certainly loved his coin... perhaps a tad too much and bordering on unhealthy obsession. If I recall correctly, he was taking his love to a new level, hijacking threads, etc. My assumption was that he finally wore out his welcome.
I really don't think it is good karma to make such posts of people who can not represent themselves at this time due to various reasons.Consider that it might turn around on you sometime. If they are officially gone, it wasn't on a whim, it was due to violations which people may or may not seen. If it is due to health or other personal reasons, we should wish their life returns to previous pursuits. If a person comes back and says they were off due to disabilities, many of the posters here will wish they could remove their posts. Consider.

Oh heck, he had plenty of negative replies to things I wrote, I just took it in stride as I'm sure he will if he returns. He had his strong opinions but seemed like a nice guy!
